Long shifting cables can be hard to find. If you need the length, this one fits the bill. I used it on a tandem with old-style thumb shifters and it was easy to install and works well. No complaints or concerns. It is the standard steel cable you’d expect.

I have an old bike that uses a double cable for the back derailer. The cable runs back to front and back again in a continuous loop with the shift level positioned halfway. This was the only solution I could find to replace the old shift cable. And it worked! It was a close fit, requiring removal of about 1/2″ from the cable casing. Thanks to you tandem bike riders, I can keep this 35 year old bike shifting!
